Receta Grandma's Salad

Ingredientes
- 1 sm. pkg. lemon or possibly lime jello
- 3/4 c. boiling water
- 1 pound sm. curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise or possibly salad dressing
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- 3/4 c. crushed pineapple, thoroughly liquid removed
- 1/2 c. grated carrots
- 1/2 c. celery, minced fine
- Cherries (optional)
Direcciones
- Dissolve jello in boiling water and chill. When jello is chilled, but not yet firmly set, add in cottage cheese. Mix. Add in liquid removed pineapple, carrots, and celery. Mix.
- Pour into mold and set. If you like, cherries may be placed in bottom of mold before pouring jello mix in.
