Receta Grandmother's Donuts

Ingredientes
- 8 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 Large eggs
- 1/4 c. vinegar and sufficient sweet lowfat milk to make 2 c.
Direcciones
- Sift dry ingredients together. Cream shortening, with sugar and add in Large eggs, beat well. Add in dry ingredients along with lowfat milk only till well blended. Roll small amount of dough at a time 1/3 inch thick. Cut donuts and let stand about 10 min. Fry in warm fat (365 degrees) to delicate brown, turn once. Drain on absorbent paper.
