Receta Greek Fanicka Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1/2 pound butter (no butter)
- 1 c. oil
- 1 egg
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Flour sufficient to make soft dough
Direcciones
- Beat butter, oil with sugar, egg and orange juice. Beat well. Add in baking pwdr and soda and flour. Knead to desired consistency. Shape cookie oval shape. Bake till browned. Dip in syrup and roll in nuts to that cinnamon has been added to taste. Heat oven 400 degrees. Bake till brown.
- Keep syrup boiling and put cold cookies in syrup for 2 or possibly 3 min. The longer you leave cookies in the more syrup they get. Then with slotted spoon take out of syrup and roll in nuts. Put each cookie in a cupcake paper. Store in a tight container. Makes a lot.
