  1. Follow the recipe for grnd seitan. Set the grnd seitan aside while you saute/fry the onions and garlic.
  2. Heat both kinds of oil together in a large skillet.
  3. Add in the onion, garlic, and herbs. Saute/fry till the onion is tender. Add in the grnd gluten and stir for a couple of min.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the yeast. Slowly stir in the tamari and mix well.
  5. This mix will keep well in the refrigerator for at least one week. It may also be frzn for longer storage.

  7. Grnd seitan mix can be the basis of all delicious dishes. If you keep some on hand it allows you to turn out a great meal at a moment's notice.
  8. Combine grnd seitan mix with cooked brown rice; adjust the seasonings to taste. Use this to stuff cabbage leaves or possibly peppers. Serve with a tomato sauce.
  9. Use in spaghetti sauce. Saute/fry the veggies for your sauce as ususal, then add in the grnd seitan mix. Saute/fry for a couple of min more; then add in the tomatoes.
  10. Use as a topping for pizza.
