%20I%20started%20typing%20out%20my%20brownie%20recipe%20here%20%20before%20I%20actually%20made%20them.%20%20It%20dawned%20on%20my%20I%20was%20out%20of%20baking%20powder.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOff%20to%20the%20store%20I%20went%20to%20buy%20baking%20powder.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELuckily,%20the%20grocery%20store%20is%20only%201/2%20a%20mile%20away.%20%20%20I%20should%20have%20walked%20this%20distance%20every%20trip.%20%20%20I%20wouldn%E2%80%99t%20have%20to%20go%20to%20yoga%20this%20week!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFinally,%20both%20brownies%20got%20made.%20%20%20What%20a%20scary%20time%20in%20my%20kitchen!%20%20My%20head%20was%20definitely%20spinning%20around.%20%20(But%20luckily%20no%20pea%20soup%20was%20spewing%20forth!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20other%20set%20of%20brownies,%20I%20wanted%20to%20experiment%20with%20my%20new%20favorite%20snack%20for%20Halloween:%20%20Peanuts%20and%20Candy%20Corn.%20%20%20I%20hated%20candy%20corn%20until%20I%20threw%20these%20together.%20%20%20(I%20saw%20this%20mix%20referred%20to%20on%20someone%20else%E2%80%99s%20blog;%20so,%20if%20that%20was%20you,%20I%20apologize.)%20%20%20Mix%20these%20two%20treats%20together%20and%20it%20tastes%20just%20like%20a%20Payday%20candy%20bar.%20%20%20And,%20%20one%20serving%20should%20only%20have%202%20grams%20of%20fat.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDid%20you%20know%20each%20year%20Americans%20consume%20enough%20Brach's%20Candy%20Corn%20that%20if%20laid%20end-to-end,%20would%20circle%20the%20world%204.25%20times?%20That%20is%20a%20scary%20piece%20of%20data!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20I%20thought%20I%20would%20make%20my%20all-time%20favorite%20chocolate%20brownie%20and%20mix%20in%20some%20peanuts%20and%20candy%20corn.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHalloween%20Ooey-Gooey%20Brownies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20sugar%20and%20vanilla%20into%20melted%20butter.%20%20%20Add%20eggs%20one%20at%20a%20time,%20beating%20well%20with%20a%20spoon%20after%20each%20addition.%20%20%20Add%20cocoa;%20%20stir%20until%20blended.%20%20Add%20flour,%20baking%20powder%20and%20salt.%20%20%20Stir%20in%20candy%20corn%20and%20peanuts.%20%20Pour%20in%20a%20prepared%20foil-lined%2013%20x%202%20x%209%20inch%20baking%20pan.%20%20Bake%20for%2030-35%20minutes%20or%20until%20they%20slightly%20pull%20away%20from%20side%20of%20pan.%20%20Let%20cool%20completely%20before%20cutting.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Oreo%20brownies%20came%20out%20great%20as%20usual.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20are%20awesome%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20experimental%20brownies%E2%80%94-the%20verdict%20is%20still%20out.%20%20They%20definitely%20are%20ooey-gooey%20as%20the%20candy%20corn%20melted%20into%20the%20brownies%20for%20a%20caramely%20consistency.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20Halloween!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWishing%20everyone%20safe%20and%20fun%20trick%20or%20treating!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENote:%20%20Sorry%20about%20the%20pics.%20%20%20I%20had%20a%20whole%20Halloween%20tableau%20%20set%20up%20but%20we%20worked%20outside%20all%20day%20yesterday%20(it%20was%20boo-tiful),%20grilled%20outside%20and%20didn%E2%80%99t%20come%20in%20until%20after%20sun%20down.%20%20I%20basically%20threw%20the%20brownies%20on%20a%20plate%20and%20snapped%20a%20shot.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
