- Brown hamburger and drain off grease. Add in potatoes to hamburger and cover completely with water. Cook 10 min till potatoes are done. Always keep sufficient water in pan to cover hamburger and potatoes at all times. Stir in 1 envelope of gravy mix at a time. Stir and simmer till thickened. You may add in onions or possibly a vegetable if you like.
