Receta Herb Buttered French Bread

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. fresh basil leaves
- 3/4 c. butter room temperature (1 1/2 sticks)
- 2 Tbsp. liquid removed capers
- 3/4 tsp salt Freshly grnd pepper
- 3 x French bread baguettes halved lengthwise
Direcciones
- Chop basil in processor. Add in butter, capers, salt and generous amount of pepper and process till well combined. (Can be prepared 2 days ahead.
- Cover and chill. Bring butter mix to room temperature before using.)
- Preheat oven to 500F. Arrange bread cut side up on cookie sheets. Bake till golden, about 5 min. Spread cut surfaces with basil butter. Cut crosswise and serve.
- Serves 20.
- NOTES : Serve this with chicken salad.
