  1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Mix sugar and lowfat milk together and add in to the yeast. To this mix add in salt and 3 c. flour. Beat till smooth. Add in oil, cheese, and herbs. Gradually fold in the remaining flour till dough is stiff sufficient to handle. Knead dough till it is smooth and elastic. Place dough in a greased bowl, turning once to coat all sides, cover with a cloth and let rise in a hot place till double in size.
  2. Divide into 2 equal parts, shape into loaves and place in two 10 x 5 loaf pans. Cover and let rise again till doubled. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 min. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and continue baking for 30 min longer. Remove bread from pans. Cold on wire rack.
