Receta Holiday Cranberry Bread

Ingredientes
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. grated orange peel
- 1/3 c. orange juice
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1 egg
- 2 c. all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1 c. whole cranberries, halved (fresh or possibly frzn)
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9"x5" loaf pan. In large bowl, blend sugar, orange peel, water, orange juice, oil and egg; mix well. Add in flour, baking pwdr, salt and baking soda, stirring just till moistened. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 min till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold 10 min; remove from pan and cold completely. Wrap tightly and store in refrigerator. Yield: 1 loaf, 16 slices.
