Receta holiday fruit stuffing

Ingredientes
- 1 lb chopped onions
- 2 lbs sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 lb finely chopped celery
- 1 lb coarsely chopped tart apples
- 6 oz finely chopped dried apricots
- 1 quart de fatted chicken or turkey broth
- 3 lbs cubed whole-grain bread
- 9 Tbsp butter bus powder
- 2 1/2 oz finely chopped or sliced pecans
- 3 Tbsp sage
- 1 1/2 Tbsp rosemary
- pepper (to taste)
- 1 1/2 cup chopped parsley
Direcciones
- Preheart oven to 325 F.
- In a heavy pot of skillet, combine onions, mushrooms, celery, apples, apricots and 2 cups of the broth. Cook covered over medium heat until onions are tender (5 - 10 minutes). Stir occasionally. Then trasfre to a large bowl.
- Add bread cubes, butter buds, pecans or almonds, sage, rosemary, pepper, parsley, and remaining broth. Toss until ingredients are moistened.
- Spray two 12 by 20 inch baking pans with non-stick spray.
- Spoon stuffing into each pan. Cover with foil. Bake covered at 325 F for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for 10 minutes more.
