Receta Holiday Spiced Prunes

Ingredientes
- 1 (1 lb.) box prunes, dry
- 1/2 c. liquid from boiling prunes
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 1/2 heaping teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 scant teaspoon cloves
- 1/8 scant teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 c. coarsely minced walnuts
Direcciones
- Cook prunes per instructions on box, till tender. Cold and remove pits. Combine sugar, liquid and spices. Cook on low heat till syrupy, maybe 10-15 min.
- Pour over prunes and mix lightly, being careful not to further mash prunes. Chill covered. Add in nuts about 1 hour before serving. Can be made several days ahead.
