Receta Homemade Ice Cream

Ingredientes
- 1 quart. lowfat milk
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 to 6 Large eggs
- Healthy pinch of salt
- 1 can evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 quart. half & half
- 1 pt. whipping cream
- 2 tbsp. vanilla
Direcciones
- Combine first 5 ingredients and cook on moderate heat till liquid thickens, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour through strainer to give fine texture to ice cream. Cold to room temperature, then add in evaporated lowfat milk. Pour into ice cream maker inset and chill. Before freezing, add in remaining ingredients. Makes 1 gallon.
