Receta Homemade Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredientes
- Oil (olive or vegetable)
- 1 heaping tbs of minced garlic
- 1 c of soy sauce
- 1 c of brown sugar (losely packed)
- 1/8 c Mirin
- 1/8 c rice vinegar
- 1/4 c honey
- Few splashes of pineapple juice
- cornstarch
Direcciones
- Throw a swirl or two of oil into a sauce pan over medium-high heat. Once warm, add the garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add the soy sauce and bring to a boil. Add the sugar, Mirin, vinegar, honey and pineapple juice. Stir to blend all of the ingredients together. Add teaspoons at a time of the corn starch, whisking to thicken the sauce. Once you have the right consistency, turn the heat down to low until ready to serve.
- You can also add ginger to the recipe. I happened to be out.
