Receta Indian Fry Bread Tacos

Ingredientes
- 2 c. flour
- 4 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 c. buttermilk Warm oil for frying
Direcciones
- Mix together and form into ball. Set aside to rest while you prepare the topping.
- Topping:1 lb. hamburger1 packet taco seasoning mix2 c. pinto beans1 can [14-16 oz] tomatoes and green chiles [such as Ro-Tel brand]
- Garnishes:Minced lettuceChopped tomatoesChopped onionsShredded cheeseSalsaSour creamBlack olives
- Cook hamburger meat till done. Drain. Add in taco seasoning mix and 1/4 c. water. Add in beans, tomatoes and green chiles. Turn to low and simmer.
- To cook bread, break into about 6 balls and flatten with hands. Fry in warm oil till puffy and done.
- To serve, place one fry bread on plate. Cover with hamburger topping. Top with garnishes as desired.
- Makes 6 servings.
