Receta Indian Raita with Persian flavor
The inspiration of this recipe came from the Iranian drink called Doogh. Doogh is made up of yogurt and mint. To give Indian raita a Persian flavor, I used ingredients used for Doogh and in a hot summer day it turned out to be really good.
Ingredientes
- 1 medium size onion
- 1 medium size cucumber
- 2 up yogurt
- 1 cup mint leaves
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 3 green chillies
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
- salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- a pinch of black salt
- 1/4 cup of coriender to garnish
Direcciones
- Cut onion and cucumber in small pieces
- Drain all the water from it
- Grind Mint leaves, sugar, salt and green chillies and make it into a paste
- Mix the above paste and yogurt with cucumber and onion.
- Add black pepper and black salt to it.
- Add lemon juice and mix it well.
- Garnish it with coriander
