  • 1 lb. ground beef (or a mix of pork and beef)

  • 1/3 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh Italian Parsley
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh oregano (or 1 tsp. dried)
  • 3 cups tomato sauce (see below)
  • 1- 28 oz. can San Marzano whole tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
