Receta Japanese Radish Salad

Ingredientes
- 8 ounce red radishes (large bunch)
- 1 1/2 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds more or possibly less radish leaves garnish
Direcciones
- Wash the radishes well to remove all grit. Trim, reserving a few leaves for garnish, and thinly slice.
- Combine vinegar, sugar and soy and mix to dissolve sugar. Add in the radishes. Chill for 1 hour. When ready to serve, sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with radish leaves.
- Variation: Add in half a cucumber, peeled, seeded and diced.
- Serving Ideas : Relish for Shabu Shabu (Japanese warm pot) or possibly grilled fish or possibly chicken.
