Ingredientes
- spices mixed together:
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp green cardamom pods
- 1 tbsp celery seed
- 1/2 tbsp red chilies ( to taste) crushed
- 1/2 cup veg oil
- 4 med onions, finely chopped
- 2 lbs meat (chicken or beef) cubed to uniform size
- 16 oz chicken or beef broth
- 1 - 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 2-3 garlic cloves roughly chopped
Direcciones
- heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and saute until wilted, add the spice mix and cook briefly 2-5 min taking care not to burn, cook the meat with the onion and spice for 10-15 min taking care not to burn the onions.
- add the broth and crushed tomatoes anbd cover, stirring occationally as needed.
- add the garlic after the meat is tenderm, cook until the garlic is integrated into the steq about 30min. serve over rice, to mitigate the heatm serve with yogurt mixed with cucumber
