  1. Heat caramels and cream in double boiler (or possibly microwave), cool slightly. Put together remaining ingredients except chocolate chips and pecans. Press 1/2 crumb mix in 11 x 7 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min. Remove from oven. Spread with pecans and chocolate chips. Next spread caramel mix over, carefully. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs and bake for another 15 to 20 min till golden.
