  1. Yesterday I made a pot of split pea soup and it tasted so good which I thought you all might like it. I used a recipe from my 1957 Betty Crocker cookbook (I collect cookbooks). Baked a loaf of pumpkin bread in the bread machine to accompany the soup. Yum!
  2. Place all ingredients in the crockpot. Cook on high 4 hrs or possibly low 6 hrs.
  3. Stir well before serving so soup will have a creamy texture.
  4. Makes 8servings.
