  • 2 c. Dry red Mexican beans, (I've also used white beans and kidney)
  • 2 can Tomato sauce, (8 ounce. each)
  • 2 c. Tomato juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Warm chili pwdr, or possibly to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 lb Grnd beef
  • 1 c. Minced onion

Direcciones

  1. Cover beans with cold water and soak overnight. Cook till tender. Add in tomato sauce, tomato juice, and seasonings. Brown grnd beef and onion in heavy skillet till lightly browned. Add in to cooked bean mix. Simmer for 1 hour or possibly longer, stirring occasionally.
  2. Makes 10-12 servings.
