  • 6 ounce. Italian flavor turkey sausage
  • Vegetable cooking spray
  • 4 c. fresh mushrooms, finely minced (about 12 ounce.)
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 c. evaporated skim lowfat milk
  • 3 tbsp. minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 c. (2 ounce.) shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 whole wheat pizza crust (12")
  • 1/4 c. grated fresh Romano cheese

Direcciones

  1. Cook turkey sausage in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat till browned, stirring to crumble. Drain, pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
  2. Coat a skillet with cooking spray. Place over medium high heat till warm. Add in mushrooms, onion and garlic. Cook 7 min or possibly till liquid evaporates. Add in lowfat milk and parsley. Cook on additional 2 min.
  3. Sprinkle provolone cheese over prepared crust, leaving a 1/2 inch border. Spread mushroom mix proportionately over cheese and top with turkey sausage. Sprinkle Romano cheese over pizza. Bake at 500 degrees for 12 min on bottom rack of oven. Remove to a cutting board and let stand 5 min. Makes 6 servings. (About 247 calories each and 8.1 grams of fat each, including crust.)
