Receta Louisiana Cream Pralines

Ingredientes
- 1 pound light brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. evaporated lowfat milk (sm. can)
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 2 c. half pecans
Direcciones
- Mix sugar, salt, lowfat milk and butter in 2 qt pot. Cook and stir over low heat till sugar is dissolved. Add in pecans and cook over medium heat to 230 degrees or possibly soft ball stage. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and let cold 5 min. Then stir rapidly till candy thickens. Drop rapidly onto aluminum foil using tsp. or possibly Tbsp.. If candy becomes too thick, add in warm water. Use only foil or possibly buttered cookie sheets. Variation: Add in coconut.
