Receta Hearty Meatless Chili

Ingredientes
- 1 env Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
- 4 c. Water
- 1 x 16 ounce can garbanzo beans, rinsed and liquid removed
- 1 x 16 ounce can red kidney beans, rinsed and liquid removed
- 1 x 14 ounce can whole peeled tomatoes, liquid removed and minced (reserve liquid)
- 1 c. Uncooked lentils, rinsed
- 1 lrg stal celery, coarsely minced
- 1 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
- 2 tsp Grnd cumin
- 1 x Clove garlic, finely minced
- 1/4 tsp Crushed red pepper Warm cooked rice, brown or possibly regular Shredded cheddar cheese
Direcciones
- In large saucepan, combine all ingredients except rice and cheese. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 20 min or possibly till lentils are almost tender. Remove cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, an additional 30 min or possibly till liquid is almost absorbed and lentils are tender. Serve, if you like, over rice and top with shredded cheese.
- NOTES : May substitute the onion soup with onion-mushroom or possibly beefy-mushroomsoup mix.
