Receta Lula's Peach Cobbler

Ingredientes
- Canned sliced peaches
- Allspice
- Nutmeg
- Sugar
- Lemon juice
- Vanilla extract
- 1 stick butter
- Cinnamon
- Water (to keep cobbler from getting dry)
Direcciones
- Mix all of the cobbler ingredients together to your taste for sweetness, using everything except cinnamon and only one half stick butter. Once mixed, place into a deep baking dish. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix shortening and flour with ice cool water. Roll dough into a thin layer and cut into strips. Once cut, place a few small squares into the cobbler mix for thickening and put the rest on top of the cobbler in a tic-tac-toe type design. Pour the rest of the butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 30 min or possibly till top crust is brown.
