Receta Lumpia (Philippine Meat Rolls)

Ingredientes
- 1 pound grnd beef or possibly pork
- 3 carrots shredded
- 2 c. cabbage, coarsely shredded
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 c. frzn French cut green beans
- 2 c. bean sprouts
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 pkg. won ton or possibly egg roll wrappers
Direcciones
- In large skillet or possibly wok, combine grnd meat and onion. Cook on medium heat, stirring. Add in carrots, cabbage, green beans and bean sprouts, one at a time, stirring as they cook. Add in garlic pwdr and soy sauce. Allow liquid to cook off the mix. Set aside and allow to cold.
- Place mix in center of wrapper. Fold corner nearest you 2/3 of the way over mix, then right side, then left side, then roll and secure with water and press. Heat oil to 375 degrees and fry lumpia, a few at a time, till golden.
