Receta Mabel's Swedish Meatballs

Ingredientes
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 pound grnd pork
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 egg
- 1 sm. onion
Direcciones
- Beat egg in large bowl; add in lowfat milk, finely minced onion and all the spices. Stir in bread crumbs. Add in the meat, that has been thoroughly mixed together. Mix well and roll into balls the size of a large walnut.
- Fry in shortening till brown, turning gently. Add in 3/4 c. warm water and simmer 20 to 30 min or possibly till done. 6 to 8 servings. Optional: After simmering add in 1 can cream of mushroom soup, slightly thickened with flour.
