Receta Mable's Pinto Beans

Ingredientes
- 4 c. #2 pinto beans
- 3 quart. water
- 1 c. minced bell pepper
- 2 c. minced onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 pound bacon, minced and fried
- 4 c. canned tomatoes
- 4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. chili pwdr
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon oregano
Direcciones
- Soak beans overnight. In heavy pot, bring beans, water and salt to boil, simmer covered, 1hour. Add in all remaining ingredients and simmer another hour or possibly longer if you like. Serve 12 generously.
