Receta Maple Pecan Cornbread

Ingredientes
- 1 c. All-purpose Gold Medal flour
- 1 c. Yellow cornmeal
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine, softened
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1/3 c. Pure maple syrup
- 3/4 c. Buttermilk
- 1/2 c. Minced pecans
Direcciones
- Combine flour, cornmeal, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar and Large eggs; mix well. Add in syrup and buttermilk. Stir in dry ingredients just till moistened. Stir in pecans.
- Pour into a greased 8 1/2 X 4 1/2" loaf pan. Bake 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 min or possibly till bread tests done with a toothpick. Cold for 10 min in pan. Serve hot with syrup, if you like. Also very good cold.
