Receta Maple Syrup Rice Pudding
A maple syrup sweetened canadian dessert.
Ingredientes
- 2/3 cup cooked rice (I use short grain rice for this recipe)
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- Nutmeg (1/4 tsp)
- Salt (1/4 tsp)
- 1/4 cup sultana raisins
Direcciones
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- In the meantime, mix the eggs and the maple syrup. Add the milk, nutmeg, salt, cooked rice and the raisins. Pour mixture in an ovenproof dish. Place the dish in another larger oven-proof dish filled 1/4 with water as a bain-marie. Cook in the oven set at 350 degrees F for 60 to 70 minutes.
