  • 3 can roasted whole green chilies (or possibly home grown and roasted if you like) (3 cans have approximately 9 chilies)
  • 2 x Large eggs (depending on size of Large eggs) flour to thicken*
  • 4 slc American cheese

Direcciones

  1. Slice up one side of chilies. Open lengthwise and remove any seeds.
  2. Cut American cheese to size of 1/2 of chili and lay on chili Fold other half of chili over the cheese Take egg(s) out, break into bowl, beat lightly with a fork and bring to room temperature.
  3. Add in flour to thicken. When you add in flour, beat lightly with egg.
  4. Let it sit for a little while - will help make the mix smoother, then beat till smooth.
  5. Add in flour as needed till you get a medium consistency
  6. Heat 1/4" oil to 300* in large frypan (same temp as cook scrambled Large eggs at)
  7. Dip stuffed chilies in egg/flour mix
  8. Fry till egg set and lightly browned. Flip and fry other half.
  9. Serve warm
  10. **Note - if you get mix too thick, add in water (tiny bit at a time) to thin. Will thin quickly!
