  1. Place shallots in a wide mouth jar. Pour wine and veg. oil into a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Add in the sugar and seasonings. Stir well. Simmer for 5 min. Remove the mix from heat and pour over the shallots. Set aside for 15 min.
  2. Then pour it over the turkey breast. Marinate the breasts for 6 hrs or possibly overnight in a covered container in refrigerator. Increase the recipe for large birds and let marinate for at least 24 hrs. Bake turkey according to instructions.
