Receta Mary's Chicken
Ingredientes
- Chicken - breasts, thighs and legs skinned
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 med. onion (minced)
- 1 c. water
Direcciones
- Put minced onion in a roaster which has a shallow rack. Add in a 1/4 c. of oil and 1 c. of water. (The chicken shouldn't sit in the liquid.)
- Salt the chicken lightly; pepper the chicken heavily. Fry the chicken till lightly browned. Then transfer to roaster arranging the breast down first, then the thighs and legs. Cover tightly with lid. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 -2 hrs.
