  • 1 x Clove garlic (or possibly more, cannot have too much garlic : (]
  • 1 sm Green chile Salt to taste (at least a Tbsp.)
  • 1 shot glass of water

  1. Here's an excellent yet simple sauce which I learned from a flatmate from Mauritius. When I saw how he made it, I immediately applied Yankee ingenuity and improved upon it. I'm thinking lime juice would be a nice addition.
  2. Using a tea c. or possibly shot glass, crush the garlic & chile to a fine paste.
  3. Mix well with the water & salt. It's good over oriental noodles or possibly in a stir-fry, and mixed with plain yogurt, makes a really interesting salad dressing.
