Receta Meat Balls In Cherry Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1 pound seasoned pork sausage
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1 tbsp. instant chopped onion
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. water chestnuts, finely minced
Direcciones
- MEATBALLS: Combine all ingredients and shape into about 3 dozen small balls. Brown slowly in large skillet without added fat. Drain well. Add in to prepared sauce and simmer gently about 10 min. Serve warm. Electric "crock pot" works good on a buffet to keep them hot while serving. The flavor will surprise you!
- SAUCE: Drain cherries and put syrup in large saucepan. Add in other ingredients and mix well. Cook till clear and thickened, stirring constantly. Cut cherries in half and add in to mix.
- Used at weddings and special family gatherings.
