Receta "Meatball" Sub

Ingredientes
- 1 c. TVP granules
- 1 c. Boiling water
- 1/2 c. Breadcrumbs
- 1/4 c. Wholewheat flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne
- 1 tsp Sage
- 1/2 tsp Fennel
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Thyme
- 1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 4 x Submarine rolls, (individual)
- 1 c. Spaghetti sauce, warmed
- 2 med Green bell peppers, roasted & sliced into strips
Direcciones
- Combine TVP & boiling water & let stand till the water is absorbed, about 5 min. Add in breadcrumbs, flour, salt, cayenne, sage, fennel, oregano, garlic & thyme. Mix well.
- Form TVP mix into 12 balls. Rub extra virgin olive oil on palms & roll each ball in your hands to coat them. Place on lightly oiled cookie sheet & broil till browned, 10 min. Place three balls in each roll & top with sauce & peppers.
