Receta Melon With Lavender Syrup

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. ,Water
- 1/4 c. Sweet dessert wine*
- 2 Tbsp. Orange juice
- 1/4 c. Fresh or possibly dry lavender flowers
- 1 lrg Ripe melon, cubed Fresh mint leaves
Direcciones
- *Sauterne, Grenache or possibly sweet Reisling.
- Bring sugar, water, wine and orange juice to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 5 min, stirring once or possibly twice to dissolve sugar. Add in lavender flowers. Cover and steep for 1 to 2 hrs. Strain out lavender flowers, pressing on pulp.
- To serve, pour syrup over melon; gently toss. Garnish with mint leaves.
- Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
