Receta Mexican Relish
Ingredientes
- 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (16 ounce.) can tomatoes, peeled, seeded & minced
- 2 bunches green onions, minced
- 1 green pepper, seeded & minced
- 1 (4 ounce.) can minced green chilies
- 3 or possibly 4 jalapeno peppers, minced
- 3/4 c. catsup
- Salt to taste
- Warm pepper sauce to taste
Direcciones
- Combine all ingredients in 2 qt saucepan. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Remove cover and continue cooking for 15 min to reduce liquid. Serve with tortilla chips. Relish may be frzn. Yield: 6 c..
- In the summer I use all fresh vegetables from my garden to make this salsa.
