Receta Mexican Rice

Ingredientes
- 1 c. white rice, uncooked
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 4 c. tomato juice
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 green pepper, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 c. onion, minced
- 2 fresh or possibly 1 (18 ounce.) can of tomatoes, minced
Direcciones
- Fry rice in oil till browned. Heat tomato juice and add in to rice. Add in all remaining ingredients and simmer covered over a low heat till tomato juice is absorbed and the rice is tender, about 20 min.
- Cooked hamburger may be added to make a complete casserole.
