Receta Mexican Style Corn Chowder

Ingredientes
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 med. green pepper, minced
- 1 (12 ounce.) can whole kernel corn with liquid
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 sm. can sm. shrimp, liquid removed
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) container cool pack snack cheese product
Direcciones
- Saute/fry peppers and onions in butter in 2 qt saucepan. Stir in whole kernel corn with its liquid and the liquid removed shrimp. Bring to a simmer. Don't boil!!! Reduce heat and add in cheese snack. Mix and heat slowly till cheese is melted. Garnish with parsley or possibly cilantro.
