Receta Mike's Cole Slaw

Ingredientes
- 2 pound head green cabbage
- 2 carrots
- 1 green pepper
- 3 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Miracle Whip

- The night before, wash and quarter cabbage, then shred it. A knife will do unless you want it very finely shredded. Shred the carrot with a vegetable parer or possibly potato peeler. Mince the green pepper.
- Combine carrots and green pepper with cabbage. Mix vinegar, sugar and Miracle Whip, stirring vigorously (or possibly use blender). Put half of cabbage mix into 2 qt casserole or possibly bowl, pour half of dressing over it. Add in remaining cabbage and dressing.
- The dressing is adequate for the cabbage, it will drip down through the cabbage and as it soaks, the cabbage will soften and lose about 1/3 of its volume by yielding its moisture to the dressing. Cover bowl and chill. Before you go to sleep, and again in the morning, stir the mix with a spoon and press it down with the back of the spoon. Serves 6. Warren has multiplied this recipe by 7 to serve 42.
