Receta Mint Macaroons

Ingredientes
- 3 x Egg whites
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Peppermint extract
- 1 pkt Semisweet (6 ozs)
- 3 1/2 x o
- 1/4 tsp Cream of tartar
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 2 c. Flaked coconut
- Chocolate chips
- 4 x Chocolate chips
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 300 degrees. Grease cookie sheet lightly. beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt in medium bowl till foamy. Beat in sugar, 1 Tbsp. at a time. Continue beating till stiff and glossy. Don't underbeat. Mix in peppermint extract, coconut and chocolate chips.
- Drop mix by teaspoonfuls about 1 inch apart onto cookie sheet. Place a chocolate chip on each cookie. Bake 20 to 25 min or possibly just till edges are light brown. Cold 10 min; remove from cookie sheet. 3-1/2 TO 4 DOZEN COOKIES; 55 CALORIES PER COOKIE.
