Receta Mom's Raisin Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. raisins
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs, beaten lightly
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg
- 1/2 c. minced walnuts
Direcciones
- Combine raisins and water in pan. Bring to boil and cook 3 min. Remove from heat and let cold. Cream shortening, add in sugar and beat till fluffy. Add in Large eggs and vanilla, mix well. Combine dry ingredients, add in to creamed mix and blend thoroughly. Stir in nuts and raisins. Drop by tsp. 2 inches apart on greased sheet. bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 min.
