- THE RICE:
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- THE MONGOLIAN BEEF:
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into thin slices
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 TBSP raw honey
- 2 tsp rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 TBSP peanut oil plus a little extra
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into bite-size florets
- 4 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 TBSP freshly grated ginger
- 1 bunch green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
