Receta Mr Food's Chicken Orzo Skillet

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- 1 lb Boneless skinless chicken breast halves, in 1/2" chunks
- 1 c. Orzo, (rice shaped pasta)
- 2 tsp Chopped garlic
- 2 c. Water
- 3 can Stewed tomatoes (14 1/2 ounce. each), undrained
- 16 ounce Canned canelli beans, rinsed/liquid removed Or possibly Great Northern beans, rinsed/liquid removed
- 1 tsp Dry thyme
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 16 ounce Frzn broccoli florets, thawed
Direcciones
- In a large skillet, heat oil over Medium heat. Add in chicken and brown 4-6 min. Add in orzo and garlic; saute/fry 5-7 min or possibly till orzo begins to brown. Add in water, stewed tomatoes, beans, thyme, salt and black pepper.
- Cover and cook 15 min, stirring occasionally. Add in broccoli. Cover and cook 5-10 min, or possibly till broccoli and orzo are tender and chicken is no longer pink.
- Serves 4-6.
