Receta Multigrain Hot Cereal With Cranberries And Oranges

Ingredientes
- 1 c. fresh or possibly frzn cranberries
- 2 x oranges, peeled and segmented
- 2 c. apple juice
- 1 c. cracked wheat
- 1/2 c. soy flakes or possibly any grain flakes
- 1/2 c. buckwheat kasha
- 1/4 c. toasted hazelnuts
Direcciones
- Heat medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add in cranberries and 2 Tbsp. water. Cook till cranberries soften and release their juices, about 2 min.
- Stir in orange segments. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Bring apple juice and 3 c. water to boil in large saucepan. Add in cracked wheat; reduce to a simmer; cover and cook 15 min. Add in soy flakes and cook, covered, 5 min more. Add in kasha and cook, covered, 10 min more. Uncover and cook 5 min to let excess liquid evaporate. Spoon into individual bowls.
- Add in hazelnuts and spoon fruit on top. Serve warm.
