  1. Heat chocolate and hot water in top of a double boiler. When melted and smooth, add in butter and slightly beaten egg yolks. Stir till smooth. Beat the egg whites till stiff and gently fold into chocolate mix. Place 9 lady fingers on a cake platter and sprinkle with 1 oz of Cointreau. Cover with chocolate mix. Place lady fingers over chocolate mix. Repeat till there are four layers of fingers. Final spread of chocolate around sides and top. Sprinkle with orange rind and put in refrigerator and refrigerate at least 6 hrs.
