  1. Grease and flour 2 (8") round cake pans. In large mixing bowl, put together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add in water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Stir till smooth and thoroughly blended. Pour into cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack. May be iced or possibly served with fruit. Makes good cupcakes too, about 12 cupcakes.
