This old fashioned recipe looks soooooooooooo good! Even though I can cook some fairly difficult dishes the old fashioned ones that are so yummy escape me.. Grandparents are long gone so can't ask .. Receta Old Fashioned – French Toast
What a nice breakfast, lunch or light dinner.

Ingredientes
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- Dashes of cinnamon
- Dash of nutmeg
- Dash of all-spice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Butter
- Slices of white bread
- Honey or syrup
- Powdered sugar
Direcciones
- Combine the milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, all-spice and brown sugar in a bowl and mix.
- Place the bread in the mixture and let sit a second or two and then turn over on the other side and let sit another second or two.
- Heat a griddle or large frying pan with a pat of butter.
- Place the dipped bread on the griddle and let and grill on each side for three to four minutes, until a nice golden color is reached.
- Serve with powdered sugar, a pat of butter and warm honey or syrup.
