Receta Open Face Breakfast Sandwich
Great brunch staple - for a healthier version, use non-stick cooking spray instead of olive oil. Can also add your favorite breakfast meat!
Ingredientes
- Sweet French bread
- 1 cup chopped scallions
- Olive Oil
- 4 slices of Gouda cheese
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- In a small bowl, mix scallions and 3 tsp olive oil
- Cut bread into 4 inch pieces and slice in half
- Spread oil / scallion mix over 4 pieces of bread
- Place 1 slice of Gouda cheese on each piece of bread, salt and pepper to taste and place in oven and bake for 5-7 minutes
- While baking, pan fry eggs
- Place eggs on open face sandwich and serve hot
